The Buffalo Surge eked out a 3-2 win versus the San Antonio Sloths at The Power House. Nobody did more than pitcher Ren Toltraid. He was terrific. The second-place Sloths have lost 4 consecutive games.

Buffalo left fielder J.C. Tomlin helped the Surge go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Tomlin hit a run-scoring single off San Antonio pitcher Starburns Glorbenspeel.

"Ren was throwing strikes, locating well," said Buffalo manager .
