Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Indianapolis Apex and Cancun Toros.

The Indianapolis Apex picked up a win at The Brickyard, knocking off the Cancun Toros, 6-4. Starting pitcher Bubbles was a big reason why. Indianapolis is now 57-45, while Cancun is 61-41.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Philip Alou came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Cancun pitcher Roquefort Cotswald, he hit a 1-1 circle change for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Indianapolis on top, 5-4.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Alou. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
