The Death Valley Scorpions had to overcome a big game from Buffalo shortstop Razmataz Buckshank to leave The Power House with a victory. And they did, winning 8-5. Buckshank went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Bandit Keith closed the game out for Death Valley, earning his 1st save. Buffalo now is 10-9.

Death Valley relied on the bat of Xicoyotl Montalbán to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 4-3. For the game, Montalbán had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Montalbán said.
