Providence got a strong outing from Iceman as the Crabs defeated the Cancun Toros, 5-2, at The Pot. Iceman, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 6, walking 5, and allowing no runs. Cancun, with the loss, is still a robust 15-4.

Hurri Quake had a big 2-run double for the Crabs in the bottom of the first inning. With Providence leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from Ryan Lee, who finished 5th in the Champions in innings pitched with 173.0 last year, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Crabs ahead, 3-0.
