The New Orleans Rougarous picked up a win at El Coliseo de los Toros, taking down the Cancun Toros, 6-3. Starting pitcher Steven Slothsburg was a big reason why. Baron Samedi notched his 10th save in 10 chances. The win elevated the Rougarous to 68-35.

Sobert Randberg, the 28-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Randberg contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put New Orleans up, 2-0.

Slothsburg told a New Orleans Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
