Choi K's 10 En Route to 2-1 Voyagers Win
|
Conditions were not ideal but New York and Outer Banks were able to put their game in the books.
Wallie Choi never let Outer Banks get something going. The New York right-hander commanded his circle change in pitching the Voyagers to a 2-1 win. The win gives New York a season record of 65-38.
Choi imposed his will on the Aviators, scattering 2 hits over 6 innings while striking out 10. The right-hander upped his season record to 14-6.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Choi said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
