The Death Valley Scorpions beat the Cancun Toros, 6-4, at El Coliseo de los Toros. Bass Reeves went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. The top prospect was a menace to Cancun all day. The win elevated the Scorpions to 59-46.

Death Valley used a timely hit from Literal Flamingo to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Scorpions ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
