The Buffalo Surge topped the Nashville Stars, 8-7, in Legends Conference action at The Power House. The game was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo designated hitter Jazzy Thompson. Buffalo reliever Paj Bobba picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Siegmeyer of Catarina took the loss. The Surge, with only their 4th win in 19 games, have not had much to write home about in 2074.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Thompson hit a cutter from Siegmeyer of Catarina for a run-scoring single. The Surge, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Thompson.
