New Orleans picked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, bumping off the Death Valley Scorpions, 5-3. Pitcher Brian Eshleman Jr. was a major reason the Rougarous emerged victorious. GOAT TANK notched his 14th save in 20 chances. New Orleans currently is in second place in the Champions Conference West at 64-42.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ashley Joanna Williams? The New Orleans first baseman had a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put the Rougarous on top, 3-0. For the game, Williams had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It was a good effort all around," said Williams.
