The Scudder Forty-Three Stadium was the site for Legends Conference action featuring the Vancouver Vandals and San Antonio Sloths.

Vancouver second baseman Enrique von Caliente had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. von Caliente hit 2 home runs, even as San Antonio beat the Vandals, 5-2. San Antonio reliever Nathan Abel picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Holly Sheet took the loss. Ello Emmell recorded the save for San Antonio, his 4th of the season.

San Antonio used the timely hitting of Bartholomew Brown to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sloths on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll savor this win," Brown told the San Antonio Gazette, "then get ready for the next game."

The Sloths raised their record to 51-56.
