5-4 Win for Providence Over New Orleans
Good production from second baseman Migs Mayfeld helped the Providence Crabs topple the New Orleans Rougarous, 5-4. Mayfeld was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI for the Crabs. Randy Colón, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. With the loss, New Orleans is 6-13.

Had Mayfeld not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Mayfeld hit a run-scoring single. The Crabs took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Mayfeld.
