The Seattle Sea Serpents defeated the Buffalo Surge, 6-4. Doing his part was third baseman Bookie Metts, who was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times. Hercules Mulligan got credit for the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. Kip Treadwell, who finished 5th in the Champions in saves with 10 last year, nailed down the save.

Seattle took the lead, 5-4, on Pass's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Buffalo pitcher Barto O'Colon in the bottom of the seventh.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Metts said.

The Surge fall to 9-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2076 season.
