Longpipe Lays Hammer Down in 2-1 Win
|
The New York Voyagers picked up a win at Vaughn's House, knocking off the Seattle Sea Serpents, 2-1. On the mound for New York was left-hander Leonidas Longpipe. He played a key role in the triumph. Big Rooster collected his 3rd save. The Voyagers, now 14-6, have been sizzling early on.
Longpipe gave New York a solid start. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.
