The home crowd had a good time watching the San Antonio Sloths and Vancouver Vandals get after it.

Vancouver Vandals starter Andy Beans pitched his team past the San Antonio Sloths, 6-2. The Vandals, now 2-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Akshay Hrishikesh, who is a three-time All-Star, helped out the Vancouver cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
