The inspired effort of Buffalo catcher Avada Kedavra was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-5, to the Death Valley Scorpions. Kedavra was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2. The winner was Death Valley reliever Bandit Keith, now 3-0. The loser was Rotgut Whiskey. Getting the save was Ray Xavier, his 3rd.

Daniel Plainview, the 26-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Plainview contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put Death Valley up, 4-1.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Plainview said after the game.

Death Valley goes to 14-7.
