Providence got a strong outing from Crabby Pebbles as the Crabs defeated the Buffalo Surge, 3-0, at The Power House. Picking up the save was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Nathanael Abel. The loss makes Buffalo 0-3.

Providence used a clutch at-bat from Cassius Considerations to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Crabs ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Feels good to get the job done," Pebbles said after the game.
