Home Field Advantage: Keli, Buffalo Open Divisional Series with Win
The Buffalo Surge started the Divisional Series in style today, downing the visiting San Antonio Sloths at The Power House by a score of 6-4 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Surge first baseman Kerry Keli went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3.

The Surge took a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. Facing San Antonio hurler Johnny Tatum with one out, Keli hit a 2-run home run.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Keli told the Buffalo Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Power House in Providence.
