New York Win Evens Series at 2
|
The New York Voyagers and the San Antonio Sloths will take the Divisional Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Voyagers beat the Sloths, 3-1, at The Treehouse to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. New York left-hander Joey Moose Jr. had a big role in the win. He threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball.
Moose Jr. delivered a quality start for New York. The 6-foot-4 left-hander allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits over 8 innings of work.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said New York manager .
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 23rd , 2073 at Vaughn's House in Providence.
