Strange Blasts Crabs, Vandals Take Game 3, 9-3
The Vancouver Vandals moved to within one game of the Conference Finals, downing the Providence Crabs on the road at The Pot by a score of 9-3. Vandals center fielder Steven Strange was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win gives the Vandals a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional Series.

In the top of the third, Vancouver shortstop Brooks Walker had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Walker stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 3-1, Vancouver. For the game, he was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Let the good times roll," said Walker.
