Road Win Lifts Buffalo to 2-1 Lead in CF
With starter J.C. Swishman leading the charge, the Buffalo Surge defeated the San Antonio Sloths, 3-1, in Game 3 of the Conference Finals today. The right-hander threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball at The Treehouse to help Buffalo take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Chipping in for Buffalo was second baseman J.C. Tomlin. He stroked a double in the top of the second. For the game, Tomlin was 2 for 4 with a double.

Swishman said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Treehouse in Providence.
