Home Field Advantage: Eucliffe, Nashville Open Divisional Series with Win
The Nashville Stars started the Divisional Series in style today, downing the visiting Cancun Toros at Gibson Soundstage by a score of 10-6 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Stars third baseman Sting Eucliffe went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4.

Eucliffe came through for Nashville with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. He hit a full count fastball to right field, staking his team to a 3-0 lead.

"We lost," Cancun manager said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Gibson Soundstage in Providence.
