Raucous Demon's Lair at Laser Park Crowd Propels Demons to 4-2 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Detroit Demons nearly wasted a strong game from starter Hercules Mulligan, but were saved by some timely hitting in a walk-off win over the Indianapolis Apex today.

Mulligan threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The win allowed Detroit to force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 Divisional Series.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Detroit trailing 2-1, Gabriel Katcher-Scudder hit a screwball from Calm Chicken for a 3-run home run, giving the Demons the walk-off win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Katcher-Scudder said.

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at The Brickyard in Providence.
