Amarillo Takes 1-0 Series Lead with Walk-off Win
A clutch 9th inning gave the Amarillo Armadillos a walk-off win over the Brew City Bears and a 1-0 lead in the World Series at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites. Young left fielder Ben Martin, 22, earned kudos after he was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

Tony Delvecchio was the walk-off hero for Amarillo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Armadillos second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Nice win for us," said Martin. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites in Providence.
