When he got to Amarillo, Marsh Mellow Jr. was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the Semi-FInals.

The 22-year-old rookie right-hander shut out the host Chicago Kingpins, 4-0, in a remarkable performance at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. With the win, the Armadillos took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 Semi-FInals.

The Armadillos liked what they saw from Mellow Jr.. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Kingpins to no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 5.

"I really like what we did out there today," Mellow Jr. said after the game.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 28th , 2075 at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites in Providence.
