Louisville Tops Brew City, 5-2, Claims 2-1 Series Lead
The Louisville Lemurs moved to within one game of the Semi-FInals, downing the Brew City Bears on the road at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House by a score of 5-2. Lemurs right-hander Matthew Huggins had a strong outing. He threw 6.2 innings of 2-hit ball. The win gives the Lemurs a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 First Round.

Kasane Teto was 2-5 with 2 singles for Louisville. With one out and the game tied in the top of the eighth inning, Teto had a clutch at-bat. Facing Brew City hurler Rufus LaFaro, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Lemurs a 3-2 lead.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Huggins told the Louisville Bulletin.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House in Providence.
