Florida Win Evens Series at 1
|
Stetson Mixon went the distance at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House to drag the Florida Flamingos back to parity with the Brew City Bears. The right-handed Mixon needed 83 pitches to get through the complete game effort, which the Flamingos won, 5-0. The clubs are now tied 1-1 in the best-of-7 series.
Mixon confounded Brew City hitters. Over 9 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.
"I really just tried to go out there and execute. Nothing fancy," said Mixon.
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 28th , 2075 at Florida Man Park in Providence.
