Cancun designated hitter Mengie Brolina helped his team beat the Outer Banks Aviators, 13-10. Brolina, who is tied for 4th in the Champions in RBI with 18, went 2 for 4 for the Toros. Samuel Smoltz notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 3-0.

Cancun took the lead, 10-7, on Myles Meredith's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Outer Banks pitcher Jiggs Kingman in the top of the seventh.
