Anchorage Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-2
The Anchorage Wheelers got a strong game from starter Pickle Riedemann, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Wheelers took the 5-4 win over the Amarillo Armadillos in Game 5 of the Semi-FInals in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Riedemann. Riedemann threw 6.0 innings allowing 4 runs in the win, which allowed the Wheelers to narrow their deficit to 2-3 in the best-of-7 series.

D.B. Barnum was the walk-off hero for Anchorage. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wheelers catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I like our mindset right now," said Anchorage manager .

Game 6 is scheduled for Saturday at The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites in Providence.
