Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder Ángel de la Fuerte, the Anchorage Wheelers got a road win against the Chicago Kingpins, 3-2, in Game 3 of the Semi-FInals. de la Fuerte went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Wheelers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Had de la Fuerte not come through in the top of the ninth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, de la Fuerte hit a 2-run home run. The Wheelers took the lead, 3-2, and never looked back.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Chicago manager . "We just didn't cash in."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium in Providence.
