Louisville Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in SF
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of designated hitter Cloud Strife, the Louisville Lemurs stopped the visiting Florida Flamingos, 9-3, in Game 3 of the Semi-FInals. Strife was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Lemurs, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.
A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the first. That's when Strife hit a cutter from Knuckle Puck for a 2-run single, putting Louisville up, 2-0.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Louisville skipper .
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Colby Koffman Championship Field at The Jungle in Providence.
