Road Win Lifts Florida to 3-2 Lead in WS
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of shortstop Ejecto Seato, the Florida Flamingos got a road win against the California Firehawks, 6-3, in Game 5 of the World Series. Seato went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Flamingos, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 2.
Florida used the hitting of Luca to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Flamingos on top, 3-2. For the game, Luca had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
Luca attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, October 14th , 2076 at Florida Man Park in Providence.
