Spirited fans greeted the New Orleans Rougarous for their clash with the Death Valley Scorpions.

The Death Valley Scorpions handed the New Orleans Rougarous a loss at Full Moon Stadium. The final score was 13-6. Major production was provided by Bass Reeves for Death Valley. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 3. He also added 2 walks. The Scorpions now have a record of 14-9 with the win over New Orleans.

With Death Valley leading 3-0 in the top of the fourth, Reeves hit a cutter from Rotgut Whiskey for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 5-0.
