Croakwell Now 3-1 After Subduing Surge
|
The New York Voyagers downed the Buffalo Surge, 3-0, at Vaughn's House. New York pitcher Professor Croakwell had a scintillating performance. Anthony Stover closed the door for New York, picking up his 2nd save of the year. The win puts New York at 18-5 this season.
Croakwell worked his mojo for New York. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said New York manager .
