Road Win Lifts New York to 2-1 Lead in WS
With starter PDub Woods leading the charge, the New York Voyagers defeated the Death Valley Scorpions, 5-4, in Game 3 of the World Series. The left-hander threw 7.0 innings allowing 4 runs at Cari Price Memorial Stadium to help New York take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Diego Ramieriez helped out the New York cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles.

New York manager commended his team for "banging out a nice win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Cari Price Memorial Stadium in Providence.
