Keli, Surge Sink Scorpions Again in Game 2
With first baseman Kerry Keli leading the charge, the Buffalo Surge got past the Death Valley Scorpions, 8-4, in extra innings in Game 2 of the World Series today. Keli went 1-3 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once at Cari Price Memorial Stadium as Buffalo managed to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

The outcome might have been different for Buffalo, had it not been for Razmataz Buckshank, the 29-year old shortstop . Buckshank stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Buffalo up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We maximized our offense today," said Buffalo skipper . "That makes everyone's life easier."

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 14th , 2070 at The Power House in Providence.
