Chicago Pins 4-1 Loss on Brew City

Already in trouble in the World Series, the Brew City Bears knew they needed a strong outing from their starter and good production on offense. They got one of the two.
The Bears failed to put much together on offense and wasted an impressive 6.1-inning effort from right-handed starter The Pizzanator III, falling, 4-1, to the Chicago Kingpins at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. The loss put the Bears in an even deeper hole -- they now trail Chicago 2-0.
Chicago used the timely hitting of El Grande Mexicano to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Kingpins on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Chicago manager praised his team's "businesslike approach."
Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium in Providence.
