Brew City Breaks Through for First Win in World Series; Now Trails 2-1
The Brew City Bears have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Chicago Kingpins, winning, 7-4, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. Bears second baseman Adam-Cole Bay-Bay went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times. The win cuts the deficit facing the Bears to 2-1 in the best-of-7 World Series.

Brew City won the game in part because of Durian Crag. The third baseman ripped a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Bears ahead, 2-0. For the game, Crag had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We're happy," Crag told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium in Providence.
