Almost There: Chicago On Cusp of World Series Triumph After 5-3 Win
The Chicago Kingpins got a strong performance from pitcher Joseph Mathys Hendry, who stymied the visiting Brew City Bears en route to a win, 5-3, in Game 4 of the World Series. The Bears could never get a bead on the right-handed Mathys Hendry, who threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The Kingpins now hold a 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Had J.B. Rainier delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Rainier popped out. The score remained 5-3, Chicago, and the Kingpins were out of the jam.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium in Providence.
