Raptors Suffer 8-3 Road Loss
The timely hitting of Paddington Von Pippington helped the Toronto Pathfinders down the Boise Raptors, 8-3. Von Pippington went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Pathfinders. Stetson Mixon got the win, improving to 1-3. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Toronto is now 9-15, Boise 10-14.

Satchel O'Richards had a big 3-run home run for the Pathfinders in the bottom of the second inning. With Toronto leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a changeup from Marsh Mellow Jr., who is considered the best prospect in baseball by BNN, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Pathfinders on top, 5-1.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Von Pippington.
