Murphy, Toros Sink Scorpions Again in Game 2
The Cancun Toros moved to within one game of the Conference Finals today, downing the visiting Death Valley Scorpions at El Coliseo de los Toros by a score of 7-5. Toros left fielder Troy Murphy did some major damage. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The win gives the Toros a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 Divisional Series.

Murphy had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the fourth for the Toros. Coming up with the bases loaded and Cancun trailing 3-2, he hit a bases-clearing double.

"Things aren't going great right now," Death Valley manager said. "But you don't need me to tell you that."

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 20th , 2069 at Cari Price Memorial Stadium in Providence.
