Rougarous Keep Streak Alive With 6-5 Win
|
New Orleans picked up a win at Full Moon Stadium, toppling the Death Valley Scorpions, 6-5. Pitcher Jose McForty-Three was one of the reasons the Rougarous triumphed. McForty-Three went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 4-0. New Orleans has run its win streak to 9 in a row.
De'Aaron Taylor, the New Orleans designated hitter, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 2-1, Rougarous. For the game, Taylor was 1 for 4.
