Almost There: Cancun On Cusp of CF Triumph After 7-2 Win
Riding the 2-hit performance of right fielder A Starting Pitcher, the Cancun Toros got a road win against the Nashville Stars, 7-2, in Game 4 of the Conference Finals today. Pitcher was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Toros, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Pitcher delivered big-time for Cancun, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Mac John. The game-changing hit put the Toros on top, 3-2.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Pitcher.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Gibson Soundstage in Providence.
