The Death Valley Scorpions beat the Seattle Sea Serpents, 5-4, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. The win was due in part to shortstop Literal Flamingo, who was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, Death Valley raised its record to 15-9.

With Death Valley leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Flamingo hit a cutter from Talk O'Bell for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 4-0.

Death Valley manager called it "a pretty good win."
