Home Field Advantage: Taz, New York Open Conference Finals with Win
The New York Voyagers started the Conference Finals in style today, downing the visiting Outer Banks Aviators at Vaughn's House by a score of 7-6 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Voyagers second baseman Yeti Taz went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 runs.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Crazy Tomato II came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Outer Banks pitcher Lanky Schramm, he hit a first pitch circle change for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting New York on top, 7-6.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Taz.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Vaughn's House in Providence.
