Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Toltraid and Buffalo
The Buffalo Surge started the Divisional Series in style today, downing the visiting New York Voyagers at The Power House by a score of 4-2 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Surge left-hander Ren Toltraid threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball.

Hulk Savage dealt the Voyagers a blow in the bottom of the first. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Buffalo leading 1-0, Savage, who finished 5th in the Legends in hits with 127 in 2063, hit a 1-0 circle change for a 2-run double.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Savage, "and go after the next one."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Power House in Providence.
