Outer Banks Takes Divisional Series in Deciding Game
|
The sweet swing of Steve Duke has led his team through the Divisional Series.
The Outer Banks Aviators star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the San Antonio Sloths to advance to the Conference Finals.
The Aviators won the final game at The Treehouse by a score of 6-3 and the series 3-2.
"I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Duke. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs."
For the series, Duke hit .316 with a .316 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The Conference Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
