Raptors Roll to 8-1 Win Over Pathfinders
|
Boise Raptors starter Femini Nomenon pitched his team past the Toronto Pathfinders, 8-1. Nomenon went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 1-0. The Phantom earned the save, his 1st, for the Raptors.
The Raptors got a big hit from second baseman Shane Ziegler. In the bottom of the eighth, Ziegler pounded a grand slam home run to right. His 1st home run of the season put the Raptors ahead, 8-1.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager .
Boise, with the win, is 3-0.
