When the games really matter, the Cancun Toros put on their best show, beating the New York Voyagers by a final score of 6-5 today. Feka Ohi Kau went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Cancun now leads New York 1-0 in the best-of-7 affair.

Cancun used a timely hit from Kurtis McKenzie to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Toros ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Cancun field general .
