With designated hitter Chauncey Ingram leading the charge, the Death Valley Scorpions got a road win over the Indianapolis Apex, 6-5, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series today. Ingram was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 at The Brickyard to help Death Valley force a 2-2 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Yvonne Escence? The Death Valley center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Scorpions on top, 3-2. For the game, Escence had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Escence.

Game 5 is scheduled for Sunday at Cari Price Memorial Stadium in Providence.
