Wall, Toros Wallop Apex in Game 2 of DS
With third baseman Green Wall leading the charge, the Cancun Toros defeated the visiting Indianapolis Apex, 7-2, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series today. Wall went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 at El Coliseo de los Toros to help Cancun force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

In the bottom of the fifth, Cancun designated hitter John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Jingleheimer Schmidt stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-2, Cancun. For the game, he was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Jingleheimer Schmidt.

Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday at The Brickyard in Providence.
