|
The Kansas City Hepcats topped the Brew City Bears by the score of 3-1 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the First Round today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Kansas City starter Nathaniel Foot, who threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball in the win.
With two out in the bottom of the fourth, David Lavenski barreled up a fastball from James Filtipaldi. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Hepcats in front, 3-0.
"I really like what we did out there today," Lavenski said after the game.
