McThicc, Bears Wallop Wheelers in Game 2 of FR
With shortstop Thicker Thick McThicc leading the charge, the Brew City Bears got a road win over the Anchorage Wheelers, 8-1, in Game 2 of the First Round today. McThicc went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo to help Brew City force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

The Bears took a 7-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning. Facing Anchorage hurler Food Poisoning with one out, McThicc hit a grand slam home run.

"I had some good swings out there," said McThicc.

The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, September 20th , 2067 at The Tap House in Providence.
