California Extends Series Lead in Low-Scoring Affair
The California Firehawks moved to within one game of the Semi-FInals today, downing the Anchorage Wheelers on the road at Balto Memorial Field at The Igloo by a score of 3-2. Firehawks right-hander Thor Lore had a strong outing. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The win gives the Firehawks a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 First Round.

It could have been a different outcome for California, had it not been for OneDog PowerBatLittleBark, the 21-year old left fielder . PowerBatLittleBark contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put California up, 3-2.

PowerBatLittleBark attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 20th , 2068 at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons in Providence.
