Brew City Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in FR
A strong performance from pitcher Goaty McGoatFace was not enough for the Anchorage Wheelers, who were stopped by the visiting Brew City Bears, 4-0, in Game 3 of the First Round. The Bears never truly figured out the right-handed McGoatFace, who threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Still, the Bears now hold a 2-1 in the best-of-5 series.

One pivotal at-bat came with two out in the top of the fourth. With the bases loaded and Anchorage trailing 4-0, Maximillion Porter needed to bear down against Cassius Considerations. Porter won the battle, as Considerations flied out and the Bears went on to win.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Tap House in Providence.
