Road Win Lifts Kansas City to 2-1 Lead in FR
|
The Kansas City Hepcats moved to within one game of the Semi-FInals today, downing the Florida Flamingos on the road at The Mound by a score of 10-3. Hepcats catcher Avada Kedavra was 4-4 with 4 singles. He scored 3 runs. The win gives the Hepcats a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 First Round.
Isayah Ulibarri, the 20-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ulibarri contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Kansas City up, 3-0.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Kedavra.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Mound in Providence.
