Bears Hammered by McCloud, Drop Game 1 to Flamingos
The Florida Flamingos took the first game of the First Round in dramatic fashion today, topping the Brew City Bears 6-5 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Flamingos center fielder Stephen McCloud was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, McCloud hit a fastball from Paj Bobba for a solo home run. The Flamingos, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"There was a kid in the stands with a sign that said 'Florida Flamingos (probably) 2068 World Series Champions'," McCloud told reporters after the game. "I told him, 'Premature, but I like the confidence.'"

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Florida Man Park in Providence.
