Firehawks Running Away With SF After 5-1 Victory
The California Firehawks are one game away from a sweep after beating the visiting State College Swift Steeds , 5-1, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons today. Firehawks left-hander John Valek IV had a standout performance in which he threw 5.2 innings of 2-hit ball. California now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Semi-FInals.

OneDog PowerBatLittleBark aided the California cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Firehawks manager said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons in Providence.
