The Nashville Stars are one game away from a sweep of the Conference Finals after stifling the Indianapolis Apex by a score of 1-0 at The Brickyard today. Stars left-hander Toby Ziegler had a strong performance. He threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. Nashville now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Ziegler was in the zone all game. He frustrated Indianapolis hitters while giving the Stars 8 innings of quality work. Ziegler threw 90 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 9 punchouts.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Ziegler.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Brickyard in Providence.
