Kwanzaa Blasts Armadillos, Lemurs Take Game 2, 8-6
Louisville third baseman Jhonkensy Kwanzaa was the difference-maker for the Lemurs in what turned into a shootout with the Amarillo Armadillos. Kwanzaa earned accolades after going 3-for-4 in the 8-6 Lemurs win. With the victory, the Lemurs moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Kwanzaa had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Lemurs. Coming up with the bases loaded and Louisville trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run double.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Kwanzaa. "And not try to do too much."

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod in Providence.
